Hope For Brain Injury

Hope For Head Injury, Coma and Traumatic Brain Injury

Today is Monday, June 26. Harold’s wife Joanne and their youngest daughter Becky were in yet another accident this past week. This was their second accident since Harold’s tragedy and both times it was not their fault. Each time, their vehicle was totaled. The first time, Joanne was hit broadside by someone who missed a stopsign, and this past week she was hit from behind by an 18-wheeler who failed to see her stopped at a red light. In both accidents, both Joanne and Becky have been OK physically, but one can’t even begin to imagine the level of emotional pain this family has endured. Joanne has a toddler (Becky), a youngster (Sara Rose) and a teenager (Matthew Isaac). These children have suffered greatly. Although all of their physical, emotional and spiritual needs are fed, there’s no doubt this kind of thing is tough for the entire family. Please continue to remember them this week, and also my mother who will be attending the funeral of her sister on Tuesday. I will be there on Tuesday as well, and will of course visit with Harold a bit before I return to the city. We’re very thankful there were no physical injuries this past week to Harold’s family, and we’ll continue to pray for strength for each member of this family.
